Do you want to avoid wonky shelves and DIY disasters at home? Join this workshop to skill up and become a confident DIY god/goddess!
What will you learn?
In this workshop you will learn how to use a power drill and carry out everyday household repairs and maintenance such as stopping a leaky tap or sorting out the silicone seal around your shower - with a few tips and useful household hacks thrown in. Our tutor Noreen will demystify DIY and take you through the contents of a basic toolkit.
Feedback from previous sessions included “I’m really pleased because after your session, something broke in the house and I was totally like, no, I’ve got this! And I fixed it!”
Noreen has redecorated a house and converted a minibus into a campervan home. She knows how to do stuff with drills and saws and screws and bits, and she’s always happy to spread the DIY love.
We strive to keep our ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops can be accessible to all. We are able to offer a limited amount of free tickets to those on low incomes so please get in touch if you wish to attend a workshop but feel that the cost is prohibitive.

A ydych chi eisiau osgoi silffoedd simsan a dinistr crefftau cartref yn y tŷ? Ymunwch â’r gweithdy hwn i uwchsgilio a dod yn dduw neu’n dduwies hyderus mewn crefftau cartref!
Yn y gweithdy hwn, byddwch chi’n dysgu sut i ddefnyddio driliau trydan a gwneud atgyweiriadau a gwaith cynnal a chadw beunyddiol yn y cartref, fel atal tap sy’n gollwng neu ddatrys y sêl silicon o gwmpas eich cawod – gydag ychydig o awgrymiadau a gwybodaeth ddefnyddiol am y cartref yn gynwysedig. Bydd Noreen, ein tiwtor, yn datgyfrinio crefftau cartref ac yn eich arwain chi drwy gynnwys pecyn offer sylfaenol.
Mae adborth o sesiynau blaenorol wedi cynnwys “Rydw i’n hynod o falch oherwydd ar ôl eich sesiwn chi, torrodd rhywbeth yn y tŷ, ac roeddwn i’n meddwl bod yn rhaid i mi ei drwsio! Ac mi wnes i ei drwsio!”
