What will you learn?
In this workshop you will find out what tools and materials you’ll need to get started on basic carpentry projects at home. Our tutor Jen will demonstrate various carpentry techniques and methods and we’ll look at which materials are best suited for different projects. Participants will get to try their hand at making a small item for their garden and will leave with the confidence to get creative at home.
Our tutor Jen is studying carpentry at Cardiff and Vale Collage and loves to get creative with her carpentry skills. Jen has made all kinds of beautiful creations including tables, gates, doors, cupboards and chairs.
We strive to keep our ticket prices as low as possible so that our workshops can be accessible to all. We are able to offer a limited amount of free tickets to those on low incomes so please get in touch if you wish to attend a workshop but feel that the cost is prohibitive.
