We are very excited to have Sarah and Julia from Zolibeau running our Sustainable fashion workshop this month on Wednesday 24th June. Find out a little bit about them and what to expect on the workshop…

Zolibeau love recycling and fair fashion. At the heart of the our ethos, is a passion for sustainable design and a firm belief that fast fashion is not the way forward.

We love to share our skills in the community, providing workshops on recycling and up-cycling clothing. We also provide classes in sewing, pattern cutting and regularly put on fashion shows within the community to showcase local talent and work form various organisations we have collaborated with.

The founders of Zolibeau are sisters Sarah Valentin and Julia Harris. They believe that clothes should be treasured, cared for and form an integral part of your wardrobe, not thrown away after a few weeks.

We are teaming up with Green City to offer you a unique chance to set yourself apart from the crowd this summer. Bring a vest top or T-shirt along to this sustainable fashion workshop and we will help you transform it into a one-off garment by using a range of reclaimed fabrics, trimmings and buttons.

We will bring along some examples and pass on the skills you need to change and repair your much-loved wardrobe. Not only will you have something unique but you’ll make less impact on the environment too. Find out more about what we do and how you can play your part without compromising on style.
